Under 9s Reports (Most recent at Top)23/04/06 at home against the Dads The annual Dads v Lads game was a hugely enjoyable event of the chaotic variety. A combined hoard of about 25 Under 7s, 8s and 9s took on about a dozen foolish fathers and beat them 7-3 (I think). 09/04/06 away at The Chippenham Festival the team
was: swindon played some very strong and big teams today despite this they still
gave 110%. the second game was against ealing. ealing won this game 2-0. swindon then played rhiwbina they lost this game 3-1 the try was a great team
effort with joshua and fraser giving a helping hand but it was ieuan who finally
grounded it. In their fourth game against Chippenham, Swindon came to life and won 3-0 with ieuan scoring one
and joshua scoring the other two. swindons last game was against wotton bassett swindon lost this game 4-0. in all their games the whole team played brilliantly. 02/04/06 away at Oxford Harlequins against Chinnor and Oxford Harlequins team; swindons first game was against chinnor a team. chinnor were a very good team
and won this game 7-1 with ieuan scoring the only try for swindon. swindon then played against chinnor b team this time swindon were on the
winning side and won 2-1 with ieuan and thomas scoring a try each. in their third game of the day swindon played against oxford harlequins
swindon did well to win this game also with a 2-1 score line this time the tries
came from taylor and ieuan. 12/03/06 away against Minety Team In the second game the only change was that Abigail was captain. Again
Swindon played well with Ieuan and Joshua scoring two tries each and Thomas Bain
scoring one. This time Minety came back a little and scored twice themselves.

sole, jack robinson, ieuan whelan, connor burt, thomas bain, joshua lee, taylor
rowe (c), michael alsop, abigail roylance, gareth perkins and fraser. Swindon played against a very good Supermarine team and worked well as a
team. Supermarine won by 3 tries to one with Joshua Lee the only player scoring
for Swindon. In the second game the team stayed the same with just one exception and that
is the captaincy was given to Joshua Lee. Person of the match went to Joshua Lee. 12/02/06 at Home v Marlborough Team Ieuan Whelan, jack sole, jack Hubble, Taylor Rowe, Connor Burt, Thomas Bain, Thomas Evans McPherson, Alex Stephenson and Michael Alsop. Swindon played a strong Marlborough team and played very well they tackled and rucked well but were unfortunate to lose 3-1 with Ieuan Whelan the only scorer for Swindon. (c) Jack sole. Swindon played again and again the defence was really good but so was Marlborough's and Swindon lost 2-1 with Ieuan again the only try scorer. (c) Ieuan Whelan. Person of the match today was Thomas Evans McPherson. 05/02/06 at Home v Faringdon Team Taylor Rowe, Ieuan Whelan, Joshua lee, Matthew Roylance, Abigail Roylance, Jack sole, Thomas Evans, Michael Alsop and Gareth Perkins. Swindon played against a fairly new but good Faringdon team they played great rugby and brilliant defence. They won 5-0 with Taylor Rowe, Ieuan Whelan and Thomas Evans all scoring a try each and Josh lee scoring two. The person of today's match was Michael Alsop. 29/01/06 at Corsham, v Corsham and v Chippenham Team Abigail Roylance, Matthew Roylance, Joshua lee, Michael Alsop, Thomas Evans, jack Robinson, Ieuan Whelan, Jack Hubble, Connor Burt, Thomas Bain, Alex Stephenson and Taylor Rowe. Swindon played Chippenham under nines and played great rugby they showed real teamwork with some good rucking passing and great defence Swindon scored through Thomas Bain and Ieuan saved a draw with an one the line steal of the ball the end result was Swindon 1 Chippenham 0. Swindon also played Corsham and again played great rugby and played as a whole team this time Swindon scored in the second half with Ieuan Whelan crossing, the great defence meant they also won this game 1 nil. Person of the match this week went to Thomas Bain. 22/01/06 at Home v Newbury and v Aldermaston Team Abigail Roylance, Matthew Roylance, Joshua lee, Michael Alsop, Thomas Evans, jack Robinson, Gareth Perkins, Ieuan Whelan, Jack Hubble, Connor Burt, Thomas Bain, Alex Stephenson, Jack sole and Taylor Rowe. Swindon played Newbury under nines and played the best rugby so far this season. They are really starting to bond as a team the end result was a 2 all draw with both Ieuan and Taylor crossing the line. Swindon played Newbury again this time losing one nil just as the full time whistle was blown. Swindon also played against Aldermaston winning this one 3-0 with Thomas Evans, Ieuan Whelan and Taylor Rowe all scoring one try. Person of the match this week went to Ieuan Whelan. 15/01/06 at Supermarine Team ieuan whelan, joshua lee, taylor rowe, jack hubble, jack sole, jack robinson, matthew roylance, abigail roylance, micheal alsop, connor burt, thomas bain and thomas evans Swindon played brilliant rugby against a strong Supermarine team. In the first match they lost 6-0 in the second match some great team work between Taylor and Ieuan resulted in Taylor crossing. Unfortunately Swindon still lost 5-1. Player of the match went to Taylor Rowe. Well done to the whole team. 11/12/05 at Abingdon Team Jack Hubble, Jack Robinson, Alex Stephenson, Micheal Alsop, Ieuan Whelan, Matthew Roylance, Abigail Roylance, Thomas Bain, Taylor Rowe, Connor Burt, Gareth Perkins and Joshua Lee. Swindon played two games against Abingdon. They played well but lost the first game 4-0 but managed to pull back a 2-0 win in the second game with Joshua scoring both tries. Player of the match was Taylor Rowe. 27/11/05 v Oxford Harlequins The first game ended three nil with swindon playing well but unable to cross the line The second game ended two one with Thomas Bain and Alex Stephenson both
crossing. Swindon really played well with some great team work and some
brilliant tackles man of the match was well deserved by all the team but
Joshua Lee just pipped them all with two great try defying tackles. Team: 20/11/05 at Reading Abbey Players. Ieuan Whelan, Matthew Roylance, Abigail Roylance, Taylor Rowe, Connor Burt, Thomas Bain, Jack Hubble, Michael Alsop, Alex Stephenson, Gareth Perkins, Joshua lee Swindon played Maidenhead "A". They played brilliant defence and an even better attack with Swindon winning 11-0 The try scorers were Taylor Rowe with one try Thomas Bain crossed twice Ieuan Whelan got a hat trick and Joshua lee scored a brilliant five tries Swindon played another game against Maidenhead but this time lost 2-1 with Ieuan Whelan scoring the only try for Swindon 16/10/05 at Chippenham
