Swindon Win the Newbury 10s U13 Plate(posted 1/5/06)

Swindon entered A and B teams for the Newbury 10s Competition.

Swindon 'A' missed out on the cup competition on number of tries scored. But in the final of the plate competition, they beat the team fielded by London Irish. London Irish? Aren't they 3rd (just above Wasps) in the Guinness Premiership? Call me shallow, but that impressed me! Read all about it.

It Must Run in the Family (05/03/06)

Kristian and Josh - Men of the Matches This weekend saw the Swindon Under-7s to Under-12s section host the local derby with Supermarine.

Brothers Kristian and Josh Lee played for our Under-12s and Under-9s respectively, and were both given the "Man of the Match" award by their coaches.

What do they feed them on in the Lee household?

Well done boys.

Note from the new Web Administrator (08/11/05)

I'm Tony Sullivan, I'm the new volunteer that has taken over the web site administration from Steve.

I still have much more content to add to the site (Steve has given me mountains of photos and match reports and whatnot), and the style of the site is a bit sparse and unpolished. I'm working on it!. Your feedback and views are welcome - especially if you are a current member.

I know a fair bit about senior rugby (for a long time I was a keen "social" player for Reading 4ths), but have little experience of junior rugby (my son has just started) and am still very new to Swindon RFC. So please set me straight wherever you think appropriate.

I can be emailed at

On Sundays you will find me at training with William, who has started coming along to the Under 8s.

Cheers  Tony S.

Swindon under 14's get 5 players into the Wiltshire county squad 2004/2005 season

At the Wiltshire County selection day on 23 Jan the Swindon Under 14 team had a total of 11 boys attend. 65 boys from teams across Wiltshire were personally invited to the selection day but only 45 of them would be selected to represent Wiltshire in matches against the Dorset U14's.
